Hi everyone!

My USC fiance is having hard time to fill out the I-134 form in numbers 8 and 9.

8.

The following persons are dependent upon me for support:

(Check the box

in the appropriate column to indicate whether the person named is

wholly

or

partially

dependent upon you for support.

Name of person Wholly dependent Partially dependent Age Relationship to me

He is supporting me and my child by sending money to me every month, should he write down my name and my childs name here for dependent persons? wholly dependent or partially dependent?

9.

I have previously submitted affidavit(s) of support for the following person(s). If none, state "None"

Name of person Date submitted

He is divorced, and he cant remember the date when he submitted the affidavit of support from his previous marriage. Can he just write down NONE?

PLEASE NEED your help..thank u

Your name should be in #3 of the I-134 form. You can write your kid's name in #8

Did you file for K2 for your child?

He can estimate, to the best of his knowledge, the month and year when he filed for a financial support for his previous wife. They have access to those files and it might hurt your application if he put "None" and then they saw it on their files.

Yes my petition is k1 and k2. In number #8, if he write down my childs name, is it wholly dependent or partially dependent?

Well, you or your fiance can answer that. If you do not have any other income other than his support, put wholly. If you have other sources of income, then put partially.

I am not so sure with K2 if your child needs a separate I-134. I suggest read more on that.

Thank u for your advice redvelvet

Let me try and clear up the misinformation given to you. You nor your child would be listed in #8. You and your child are listed in #3. If your USC fiance has his own dependent children or anyone else he claims on his taxes, then those persons would be listed in #8. That section is NOT for listing any of the intending immigrants, K-1 or K-2.
