My wife has filed a petition for my spouse CR1 visa in August 2010 which was approved in Feb 2011 by NVC and sent to US embassy Islamabad. I had my interview in June 2011. My application is still under the administration process since I have had my interview. Can any one advise what can I do speed up the process or at least to get the correct update as when ever I contact embassy every time I get a same reply that my application is under administrative process. My wife has tired to contact NVC as well but they are not very helpful as well.

Wow that is an unusually long time even for your country to be in AP.

Has your wife contacted her elected representatives (Senator. Congressman)?

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
