Hi guys smile.png how long should i wait after the approval before calling the nvc for my mnl case number smile.png i got approved on the 26th thanks guys smile.png

One week after your approval. Preferrably count only working days. Like yours would be on the 7th or 8th of May. Sometimes they say it isn't available yet and ask you to call a few weeks after. You can actually call everyday to check :)

You can wait for that but most people here in VJ don't wait for the document because that usually comes in a month or so and scheduling your interview would also come around a month after you apply so that's 2 months total. It is your choice though as it is advised only by the USEM and because as you said it is still on the process. The wait isn't that difficult. Let's just hope medical and other things go smoothly and without delays after this smile.png

We just giving it a few more days before we will make our payment and schedule the interview. The Visa payment is valid for a year anyway.

Visa payments are valid for a year but aren't you supposed to act on your case 4 months after NVC? Correct me if I'm wrong though. Our NOA2 said that we need to act on ours before August and we got approved April.

Yes, there's an expiration date on the NOA2. The only thing I'm worried about is the timing of the interview and when will NVC send the physical documents to US embassy in Manila. But like what you said, it's better to be pro-active about this otherwise you'll be waiting forever.
