Hi everyone,

This Visa Journey forum is wonderful, Please help me to prepare for my Interview CR1 Category Visa US EMBASSY ISLAMABAD. I have some questions ?

1: My husband is my petitioner, he is currently in US and not able to join me in interview ? so I am going with my brother, how far my brother go with me to embassy ?

2: Its almost 2 years and 2 months past since our Nikkah was held , Now finally I got interview call ? what are the important questions anyone suggest me ?

3: Very Important question to ask, Should I take my Nikkah Album with me its too big in size ? or should I print some of the selected photos ?

4: Another important thing which I want to share that we have only one ceremony held which was our NIKKAH, we did'nt done RUKHSATI OR VALIMA Yet ? which were planed when I got visa than my husband and his family came here for that, I have read some of the stories on this forum that they got refused just because they have not done their Rukhsati and Valima ?

5: My husband is US CITIZEN and his Family was there I guess 50+ years, My husband just came once to Pakistan for our Nikkah, Now please tell me what are the important questions I should prepare ? what are the chances ?

Thank You very Much

I'll answer the best I can

Person at the embassy may ask: How did you meet? When did you meet? Was this an arranged marriage? What does your Husband do for a living?

3: Very Important question to ask, Should I take my Nikkah Album with me its too big in size ? or should I print some of the selected photos ?

Take the Nikkah Album AND select photographs, and keep these in a separate envelope. Photographs should include pictures of you and your husband's family happy, smiling. It should also include pictures of the actual religious ceremony. This would be most helpful

what are the chances ?

It is all in God's plan. You do you best, God takes care of everything else, or In sha'Allah (did I get that right?).
