lagos Interview Dates

Hello Guys,

My wife's case was completed today.

Does anyone have Lagos Interview during the month of May ?? Today i called NVC and they said they don't know when dates are available but we should receive an email when they have a date available

Lagos has been slow in scheduling interviews this year. It used to be within days, latest weeks. maybe it is due to summer vacation applicants.

I got case complete jan 28th and did not get a date until march 5th! for April 19th.

Just study your country on the list and compare those who have their interview dates already by looking at when they had case complete, when they Received the date and what date they were given. you most likely will have a June interview date with the current trend.

NVC or DOS will continue to say they cannot tell when dates will become availale until the embassy gives them available slots , then they schedule. Lagos should be releasing dates within the next week and after.

This is unfair after waiting 8 months with Vermont Service Center now i might have to wait one month for my wife to be scheduled for an interview. This is no longer immigration i am sure it will get even worst next year.

Then wait is to high, i just cant figure out whats actually the matter...anyway in all things lets just hang in,we have started the process and shall finish it insha allah

We were completed at NVC on March 18th, April 1st received email for interview dated May 6th, so you have a bit of a wait..... good luck!!!!

Thanks guys but did you call them everyday until they assign an interview date or they just automatically email you an interview date and how i need to call them to confirm that my case was shipped to Lagos ?

No we didn't call at all after it completed. It was assigned and an email was sent when the interview was scheduled.

Yes, I call every day.....same answer,"no interview date"...I guess, it will be in June.

These past two months,NVC has been pretty good with keeping to their protocol of interview notice via email. i would still call at least twice weekly to check in though. In january, two members got their interview dates via phone call too NVC but never received the email until almost 3weeks later!!!! At least that phone call got them 3weeks of last minute tidying up for their interviews.

Interesting.I thought you went online to schedule interview date. I didn't know they automatically emailed it. The approval is only good for 4 months. Scarey to think it could expire before the interview. But that's mot likely to happen is it? Ours is at nvc. Do I just wait for an email or do I call them?

I just got off the phone with them and they said the same thing "no interview dates yet but you will get an email once they have an interview schedule for you .

Each step of the immigration process has its wait time.I thought interviews are scheduled 2nd week of each month, a month has gone by and still no word. I will feel so much better knowing there's an actual date....Month/date and time.Our anxiety level is on high alert from when we first started at USCIS.
