We got a letter from Frankfurt asking for a German police report. I sent them the police report that I got from the MPs but I guess they want the German one too. We went to our city's Rathaus to get it and they told us they do not do it there so I am lost as to where to get it from. Any one know where I could get it? I need ASAP. Thanks!

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

Go to your local Bürgerbüro/Bürgeramt and apply for a Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis there. They will forward your request to the Bundesamt für Justiz, and you will get your report in the mail a few days after. Mine took three days I believe, and the fee was 13 Euros.
