Per MTN's website it says that if you have lost your security number and pin, you can call customer service or go into one of the local offices. Per my husband, he is saying that its not that easy. That they aren't cooperating with him. I wanted the number so I could print off our call records from MTN. Any advice or information would be appreciated.

Thanks!

You are probably best served by visiting Nigeria specific forums.

I personally don't think it's possible unless his account is not a pre paid one but the Nigerian entity should be the one doing this leg work. He needs to get off the web and leg it to an actual MTN office and speak to an actual MTN person.

This is a 2 year old info so not sure how accurate it still is.

rebtel is a phone service that most people in the states use to call Nigeria. If you are in Nigeria and use MTN they are correct they will only give you six months and they do request a letter from the embassy (you can take your appt letter) Also If I were you I would advise your USC fiance to start using rebtel to call you are localphone.com that way your call log can easily be printed from there website....Good luck to you

It is as easy at they say to get your pin there, just go into the local office. That is what my Husband used to do there so I am sure about that. However, I have not heard of being able to print the logs off their site. That must be something new.

Thanks Gowon. He has gone in an spoken to the MTN office, but it didn't result in anything but making him angry. I just thought I'd ask what others experience has been with MTN. Or if anyone has used the website to print off their call logs.

I have yet to hear or read anyone required to show phone logs from beneficiaries end.

Go to embassy web page and they even say bring phone records of petitioners phone.

Personally I wouldn't worry abt it.

Long as you show ur phone records highlighting ur calls that's cool.

They would only want theirs if they suspected some funny business. And that's not the case.
