I am in need of help with the next steps of the K-1 visa. My fiance resides in Jamaica and I don't know what the next steps are. How long will it take for him to get an interview? Does he schedule an interview or do they give him an interview date? How long does it take for him to get his visa if he's approved? Can he get his police record and medical now that we know that we know that he's approved? I just need a little guidance Please!

First lets take a deep breath, cause you are going to go crazy stressing yourself out. Take the time to read for yourself, and read other links that people have posted. They will be able to answer a lot of your questions.

My fiance signed up for the cite but have not done anything else. Just got awknoledgement email back from KingstonIV@state.gov that they received form DS-230. What is the next step. And I assume where it says "Select trip purpose" he has to choose "Immigrant visa" right? Just confused because the applications in packet 3 seem to say Non-Imigrant viza. I Just dont where to go from here and what to do. Clueless what to do with that site and when to do anything on it. Please help if you know. Thanks

Can I apply for the visa for him or does he have to do it? Does he have to upload a picture? Does he have to apply for the visa now or once he receives his package?
