Interview has been cancelled

Timeline

i changed my address so the interview as scheduled in my present address. but since we move back to our previous address. when i tried to call the immigration the guy said the appointment has been cancelled. i dont know why it should be cancelled. what are the possibilities after this?

any idea please.

I have heard of appointments being cancelled followed by file being transferred and then being approved without an interview. Did you receive all your paperwork or did some of it went back as undeliverable? If its the latter case, then you could have problems; if not then maybe you are one of the lucky ones that get approved without an interview. Try and find out what happened to your case - maybe use an infopass appointment if you can especially if you don't hear anything in the next 2 weeks. Good Luck

March 17 Refiled using new I-751 form

April 16 Biometrics done

July 10 Green card production ordered

2009

Citizenship

Jan 20 filed N400

Feb 04 NOA date

Feb 24 Biometrics

May 5 Interview - Centennial (Denver, Colorado) Passed

June 10 Oath Ceremony - Teikyo Loretto Heights, Denver, Colorado

July 7 Received Passport in 3 weeks

Shredded all immigration papers Have scanned images

I-751 Timelines

01/28/08 (1st day) - submitted I-751 (Lifting of Conditional Status)

01/30/08 (3rd day) - confirmed receipt of documents thru USPS

02/05/08 (9th day) - check cashed!

02/11/08 (15th day) - received NOA (I-797) GC extended for 1 year!

02/28/08 (32nd day) - received NOA for Biometrics Appointment

03/06/08 (39th day) - biometrics appointment @ 10am - DONE!

05/23/08 (78th day) - received 10-yr Green Card in the mail

May 30, 08 - passed written driving test (1st attempt) & got temporary permit yipeee !
