We have a Case Completed email from NVC today. Yeh!!! What happens next?

Congrats! kicking.gif

Your case is now put into queue for an interview date to be scheduled. Once it's been scheduled, you'll receive the interview letter by email. Once you have that, then you can schedule a medical.

So I receive the interview date, then I get to schedule the medical? Sorry for being so obtuse but I'm too excited to think clearly

Congrats! I took a look at your timeline, as my case was received by NVC on Apr1...I noticed that it took them about 3 months to complete your file: was this because of just normal and current processing times on their end, or you took your time in sending them required info/fees, or a combo of both?

Reason I ask is I'm just trying to estimate how long my file will take to be processed by them. I'd be curious to know what your interview date will be, when you get that date. Thanks in advance for any info!

I had to wait for my police certificate from the other countries I lived in and NVC couldn't figure out whether I lived in the US or not and needed an adjustment :bonk: Those 2 things slowed up our application process a bit.

Once you have a case number assigned, if you have everything ready to go before hand, then you can currently get through the NVC process in about 3 weeks yes.gif
