Will there be an issue if I dont have a recently signed LOI to Marry within 90 days? All I have is my fiance's initial LOI but I can def sign a new one for myself.

My fiance forgot about the LOI when he mailed the support docs as he was working on his taxes...

We have all other docs such as my boarding tix going to the US and passport stamps from both of us.

Your thoughts?

Thanks!

They never asked for the LOI from either of us during the interview. Do a new one for you just in case (I seriously doubt they will ask for yours or one from your fiancee), but the DS-156K also has the intent to marry statement that you have to signed in front of the CO at the embassy, plus they will ask you that question during the interview.

The LOI is not a requested document on the embassy letter either.

This is as close as they get to saying anything about a LOI, which really isn't asking for one. They are looking for the evidence of a genuine relationship and the LOI really doesn't do that.

EVIDENCE OF A GENUINE ENGAGEMENT

. You must be prepared to prove to the consular officer that you have a genuine relationship with your petitioner and a clear intention to marry within 90 days of admission into the U.S. In the past, successful applicants have submitted photographs, letters, e-mails, phone records, bank records, and remittance records as evidence supporting their relationships and intent to marry.
