Anyone who got help...... From your sentator / congressmen

Help from senator or congressmen. Please only answer if your elected official intervened with the process. I.e. they did more than submit an inquiry.

I recently contacted both senators, and my congressmen. So far they are "toeing the company line" saying they will submit an inquiry, but will not "overstep their bounds" and intervene with the process. Yet several on this forum claim that their elected official has helped get their NOA2 approval.

What I want to ask, of those of you who got help.... What political party is the person who helped you from?

I have a theory. I live in Michigan. And both my senators AND my congressmen are all Democrats. I don't mean to turn this into a politicial debate. But my theory is Democrats are going to be much more likely to not intervene and instead support what seems to be an edict from Obama and / or Napolitano regarding DACA.

Any thoughts?

I'm from Vermont, my Senators office was great about doing inquiries about my case. Even so far as finding out exactly where my file was in the process, and pushing it to pass through. I'm very pleased with the professional attitude that was taken in my case. Could it be that its because it's Patrick Leahy's office ...maybe? It could also be that the service center is right here and they could possibly be dealing with them on a weekly basis.
