Hi! I have a question for anyone who has done their medical in Riyadh. My husband did the medical exams and tests last week in preparation for his interview on April 6th. He did not have his vaccination records, so the doctor told him to repeat some, but there were a couple he could not repeat/take now because "they are for babies" and one because "we dont have that here in KSA." The embassy recently changed the hospital where you can do the exam (my husband was the first to go to it for this exam) so Im worried that the embassy will not accept my husbands exam. The doctor also told me that they don't have a blood test here that checks for previous vaccinations but we do in the US (Antibody Titer). So Im just wondering if anyone else has had the problem of no shot records or of a vaccine not being available in their country? Thanks!

Depends on what vaccine is missing, needed:

I actually know a bit about immunizations for KSA vs USA. Please contact me thru email and maybe I can explain some of the vaccinations between the two countries.

One vaccination that KSA does as an infant is BCG (for TB) which the US does not use. This vaccination is used on a lot of countries outside the US.

There are titers that can be done to prove coverage for some vaccinations such as MMR and Varicella (Chickenpox).
