If the cosponsor's household is 3, the required income has to be 23,862$, so yes, 24,000$ would be enough.

thank you for your answer and i dont need any thing else like put some money in my saved account or some thing like that ?

Nope. If you're the beneficiary, you don't have to fill out an I-864, so it's only your spouse's finances they'll take into account, along with whatever cosponsor you choose to include.

You do not include the petitioner in the count for the co-sponsor. He counts himself, any dependents he may have, his own spouse and the beneficiary.

The petitioner counts themselves............... 1

The petitioner counts the beneficiary........... 1

The sponsor must also count other dependents (children for example)

The co sponsor counts themselves..............1

The co sponsor counts the beneficiary.........1

The co sponsor must also count other dependents such as their children and spouse.

If the petitioner is married and has no children or dependents, the petitioner counts will equal 2.

If the co sponsor is single and has no children or other dependents, the co sponsor count will equal 2.

The co-sponsor does not count the petitioner unless they claim the petitioner as a dependent on their taxes.

AGH! you replied before I finished editing! LOL!!!! headbonk.gifrofl.gif

That'll teach me to edit!

I'm happy you understand.

PS - the I-864 and the DS-3032 are two different things.

You need both, but the beneficiary must send in the DS-3032 ASAP (email is the fastest method) or else you will not be invoiced (aka "billed") for the IV invoice. The IV invoice must be paid before the NVC will look at the DS-230 which is the visa application.
