I have been trying to call the US Embassy Macedonia call center located here in the USA all day and only get a busy signal. I can't believe the call center is so busy I can't get through after calling for hours :angry: I have the number on speed-dial and nothing but beep...beep...beep GRRRRRRR

14-Sep-2016 Contacted USCIS again about case (email said we should hear from them by Oct 6)
22-Sep-2016 Letter from USCIS dated 9/20 explaining the Service Request is currently being reviewed by an officer.
22-Sep-2016 Letter from USCIS dated 9/20 with Interview appointment for both of us for 28-Sep-2016
28-Sep-2016 Interview, both of us, separated, not hard, 10 min. each, result---said hubby will get GC in about 10 days
26-Oct-2016 *****STILL WAITING*****
02-Nov-2016 Card is being produced!!!
08-Nov-2016 Card is mailed
10-Nov-2016 Card is Delivered!!!! YAY
CITIZENSHIP: 

Biometrics appointment for 2020-03-27 has been cancelled until further notice as all field offices are closed because of COVID-19.

***NOA dated 12/10/2020 USCIS stated they are able to reuse previous Biometrics***

Interview was easy. My hubby's Oath Ceremony is scheduled for February 25th. I can't watch >sad< but happy he is getting his certificate!

what about trying the DoS Hotline also/instead?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Here's the situation...we needed a joint sponsor, all the documents were done and sent to my hubby. He received them today. When my hubby had his interview the embassy gave him two phone numbers because he needs an appointment to bring the documents to the embassy. One is for calling the embassy directly and the other is a USA-based number. They told him "have your wife call this number in the USA and make an appointment for you to return." So....that's where we are right now...no appointment yet because I can't talk to anyone. Might need to try calling the direct number tomorrow. The embassy is closed now.

Oh well this is weird, embarrassing, crazy or whatever but I found out it was my long distance phone service that is broken, not the phone number to the call center :blush: I used my cell phone to call and got through on the first ring. Hubby now has an appointment to return to the embassy in April. Oh...I emailed my long distance service....they called me and confirmed something is wrong and they are fixing it.
