It's almost been two weeks and I haven't heard back from the Senator. I called last week to see if they received my letter, and the lady on the phone said she did and they would contact me when they looked into it. I'm going to try calling tomorrow and following up, but i'm honestly losing hope. I got an email back from my service request stating I'm still in the normal processing time. No, i'm not, when I applied and decided to go through with fiance visa instead of getting married and doing spouse the processing time was FIVE MONTHS and when I paid the fee I was expecting a decision in FIVE MONTHS, Obama said legal immigration would be priority, damn what a joke. :crying:

I hope that they will get back to you soon. From my experience, both of my senators and congressman got back to me eventually. The senators were both faster then the congressman, but I was glad for the response. Now with that being said, one of my senators sent an expedite request to the USCIS this morning. By the afternoon (of the same day) my senator's office mailed me back saying that my visa has been approved. I was in complete disbelief at the speed of their decision. I just checked my status on the the USCIS website. This is what it said:

Post Decision Activity

On April 15, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283. For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.

I won't update my timeline until I have the noticed they mailed to me in my hand. So, all I can say is don't stop calling (and I know you won't). Eventually your senator or congressman might ask you to file an expedite request. Just be prepared to state your case well to them. Good luck to you, and my prayers are with all of you who are going through this prolonged process.

Congrats to you. My senator said there's nothing she can do. I wish I had your senator look into my case instead. So happy for you and your lover!!!!

She really said that "there was nothing she could do"? :wow: That's a bunch of bs imo. There's a lot they can do. I'm completely bummed about the situation you're in and that many of the k-1 filers are in. By the looks of it, it looks like it was only one senator that told you this. Hopefully your other senator and congressman can help more. And, if not, maybe consult with an immigration lawyer? Hang in there. I wish I could tell you more, but I can only speak from my experience. Anyways, thanks for your congrats and well wishes. :)

Hi, guys. Contacting the senator and congressmen didn't help me. But I received my NOA2 last night! It's still worth a try for those still waiting! But CSC looks like they're back on track! good luck everyone :)
