DHL tracking NVC Documents

Hi Guys,

SO recently spoke to the NVC, who said our case has been completed on 20th March (YAY!).

I read some posts about tracking the DHL shipment of the NVC documents. Would anyone be able to clarify the procedure to do that?....I seemed to have some trouble. (Kept saying it couldn't find anything with reference I was keying in.)

Thanks for this! Could you tell me also if there's a DIFFERENT date between a case being completed and the case being sent out to local embassy?

The case won't be sent out to the embassy until after they give you an interview date. My case was completed on March 5th, but has yet to be sent to our consulate since we haven't been given an interview date yet. If you already have your interview, you can call NVC to confirm what date they sent out the case to the embassy.

Well I called them yesterday and they told me the case had been completed, and a date had been set, but they wouldn't tell me when that date was...They also wouldn't tell me how long it would take to get this information because different US embassies take different amounts of time...

They're right - some embassies aren't as busy as others, so some interview dates can be assigned the same day as case complete, while others take months. If they told you an interview date has already been made, they have no reason to keep that information from you. I would call back again and confirm. You can also call DoS for interview information.
