why? we did not make up a deployment story. my husband is really deployed and my child does need to go to school.

The fact that you're calling the right line and getting nothing

its a long line. Be prepare to wait. No way you be in the states by august.Thats to soon

For someone that is attempting to apply for a military expedite that is perfectly possible.

And waiting has nothing to do with the fact that their check isn't cashed.

There's not a wait like this on that.

US WANTS MONEY NAAAOOOOO

good news (I hope). Our case got forwarded to a field office.

The bad news is that the military expedite got denied because there are no medical reasons why I should be in the States earlier?!?! I don´t get it. I never heard that you need medical reasons. Guess for some reason they just did not like us. My husband talked with the head of the department and he said that we don´t have to ask for another expedite again because it will get denied as well.

We received an email saying that we should get a notice within 90 days. What does that mean? Is that the NOA2? Are 90 days a realistic time? We were also told that it would take 5 days to decide, if we get the expedite and it took over a months.

Our check still did not get cashed.

I´m confused how far in the process are we?

Isn't your husband overseas?

You shouldn't be going to a field office unless you put a US address down which, unfortunately, took away your opportunity to get the typical abroad expedite.

You're going to be SOL if your husband gets called for one of those ridiculous field office interviews.

Denial for no medical reason is ridiculous and makes no sense because you should have requested the expedite on the military line and that's where they make MILITARY expedites oivey. :bonk:

he is stationed in the states but deployed at the moment.

what is SOL? what field office interviews? I though only I have to go to an interview here in Germany?

Yeah, I know. we called the military line for a military expedite. Do oyu have any idea what I could do? Is there anything I could do at all?

Sh*t out of Luck.

Some petitioners get called for interviews.

I suggest you poke around here to find a better way to go about your expedite:

Where is he deployed to? Because he's already deployed it maybe harder to use the deployment orders to expedite. In fact pretty much impossible according to the expedite criteria. But he can try. He'd need his deployment orders though.

Where is he stationed? Perhaps he's in a place where the local offices are fast :)

As a military wife you can also call the help line:

She's been calling the military line, but I was starting to think this way too about already being deployed.

Still, it's clear someone effed up when the expedite denial reason came back.

I agree. Something is wrong when you apply for a military expedite due to deployment and they say " you don't have a medical reason." Well duh... That's why I was saying my spouse is deployed! headbonk.gif

especially I don´t get why it works for people who have face deplyment orders and that is their only reason? We have two good reasons and even the head of the department says we don´t have to try again because it will get denied again?

from the field office we got the following info:

Due to high volume of expedite requests for this case type, we are strictly enforcing the criteria that has been set for these expedite requests. You have not provided ecidence of an extreme emergent situation. your case is currently under review. you should receive a decision or notice of other action within 90days of the date of this letter.

What does that mean? Is that the NOA2? Are 90 days a realistic time? We were also told that it would take 5 days to decide, if we get the expedite and it took over a months.

We did not get the NOA1 by mail, only email. Is that a problem?

No not getting noa1 by mail is not a problem. As long as you have your receipt number you're okay.

It sounds like within the next 3 months you'll have a decision. Yay for you.

They can't do anything about people having fake deployment orders but perhaps this strict criteria regulation is because of things like that. You just happened to get the short end of the stick. :(
