Just got off the phone, and if your a Sept filer save yourself the frustration of calling, you will recieve no answers, they claim that 5.5 months are just estimats and they go off of the other processing times which have been on July 18 and are still there and they claim they cannot put in a service request for us, however we can speak to a immigration officer if we make a appointment. I feel so bad for July and August filers this whole process just sucks. anyway sorry just needed to vent a bit, trying to keep my head up.

Yes, they're still saying 18th July because that's the date they have listed on the website still where it shows processing time*, which has a last updated date in December. None of the folks on the phone know or are able to quote anything other than that date they publish. It's well overdue for them to update that page now, which is when they'll change the date they're quoting and deal with anyone further up than the 18th July. I'd really like to see them update their quoted priority date this week, if nothing else.

I'm sorry to hear that. :( if that the case I think our petition too will take much longer. I am hoping to be with my fiance on my birthday.

That's really frustrating. :(

We filed september 13, 2012. So its been about 7 months now since we received the NOA1. Would be nice if they updated things more often on the website, as it would help a lot when having to plan a wedding. Its no good leaving it until 90 days before the wedding.. especially booking in the summertime, as everyone books around then and it will be hard to set a date in 90 days of arriving! Will be tough trying to find a wedding venue!Would have been nice if they gave 6 months instead of 3 months to get married. 3 months is cutting it a bit fine!!

Yep. You get 6 months to enter the US on the K1, then 90 days to get married once you do.

CSC is really moving so slow these days. :( Lots of applicants who filed earlier than September are also stuck. Really praying they'll approve petitions soon.

in all your ways submit to Him,
and He will make your paths straight.

I know what you mean. I just wish there was a way to find out what was going on. I mean, OK, so they might be processing DACA petitions as priority, but that's not an excuse for not updating their processing times since December. Just knowing what they're doing would be helpful, since it's impossible to plan when it appears for all intents and purposes that a service centre hasn't just insanely slowed down but appears to be entirely inactive on a whole set of petitions.

Strongly thinking about seeing if they will expedite the case due to financial hardship. My fiance is trying to build up the family ranch so we can make a living from it. This year we were pretty much banking on me being there in June so I could take care of the livestock while he went and did some paid work. The ranch will give us an income from fall onwards. Now he is going to struggle to work and build up the ranch :(

Are you able to query them first to find out if it's in the range that they'd accept an expedite for? If you're able to do that without spending whatever fee an expedite costs first then I'd definitely enquire. I wonder how you'd prove it - maybe if he was able to show what it would cost to hire a hand to do the same work (and that it's not a feasible cost), or projected profit loss? I don't know how "hard" the financial hardship has to be. :)

I hope they update the processing times this week, and that your date will be on the right side of it, so you can just call them up and give them a hard time. :)

I know exactly what you mean.

We have a 1 year old son together and its so stressful having him apart from his dad. And its terrible for my fiancee, being apart from his son and i. I know he is terribly depressed. Just hope the wait is over soon.

I went over for a visit to U.S.A December 01 2012 with our son. It was the 1st time he saw his little boy, as he couldnt be here in my country when he was born because of work. Our son was 10 months old by the time we were able to make it over for a visit financially. I went over on my U.K. passport, and our son has a U.S. passport because he is a U.S. citizen. it went ok at port of entry, as i had a return ticket.

I am just glad we got to spend Christmas ans our son`s 1st birthday all together though. Its harder for him being apart again, because he bonded so much with our son. Hoping the wait will not be more than afew weeks now before we hear about the NOA2.

 we're 6 months now and we did our first time service request but it says "Your application or petition is currently within the posted processing times. An inquiry may not be created at this time"

So,the normal parameters of processing would be 6mons. to a year?
