Interview notified by mail or email?

Good Morning all:

I'd like to know if NVC schedule interview date and notify the petitioner (choice of agent) by mail or email. This is for Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam Consulate.

Also in Vietnam, do you pick up your Visa in person or do they send it to your home address?

Reason I'm asking because they mis-spelled my father-in-law's address in Vietnam. Should I be worried and notify NVC about this or if they deal with email interview date/pick up Visa in person, I should just ignore it.

11-16-12: Sent I-130 for Dad.
11-19-12: Priority date/rec'd date.
02-06-13: Case approved, NOA2.
02-19-13: NVC received case.
03-08-13: Case # assigned--HCM2013******.
03-09-13: Paid AOS Fee $88.00.
03-09-13: Emailed DS-3032 from Beneficiary's email address.
03-13-13: AOS Fee showed as PAID & sent AOS package certified mail.
03-18-13: AOS package delivered @ 10:50 A.M.
03-18-13: DS-3032 accepted.
03-20-13: IV Bill Invoice.
03-21-13: Paid IV Fee $230.00.
03-23-13: IV Fee showed as PAID.
04-23-13: Sent IV package certified mail.
04-26-13: IV package delivered @ 11:13 A.M.

05-08-13: Case completed @ NVC per telephone call.

05-15-15: Case completed per email from NVC.

06-07-13: Rec'd email from NVC RE: interview date. (letter dated 06-05-13).

07-18-13: Interview date-- PASSED.

Hi Im NOt Vietnam but what I have Heard is they Email You for the schedule interview date - but them I dont know how it works On your Line - Im wait for that - its been almost 5 weeks My case was completed - But Yes Call the NVC that YOu mis-spelled my father-in-law's address - I hope everything works Out Good For YOU :)

How about picking up your Visa? In Phillipines they mail to applican't house? I think in Vietnam you pick it up in person, I'm not sure?

How about picking up your Visa? In Phillipines they mail to applican't house? I think in Vietnam you pick it up in person, I'm not sure?

In Philippines, we have the options to either pick up the visa in the courier's branch office or have the visa deliver to the applicant's home address. Maybe you can ask this question in Regional forum (Vietnam).

I have read multiple times that in Vietnam they send the passport with visa to your fiancee house. I am not at that stage yet, but I have not seen any other response/option for Vietnam from my research so far.

My fiancee she used to pick up her K1-Visa at HCM Consulate since she lived in another city. This was 2008, I don't know now.
