Just got back from trip #2 with my fiance....had the embassy interview and it was easy. We were hoping for her to return with me and everything was going perfect, until we picked up the visa and my name (petitioner) was misspelled on it. :angry:

Sent it back to the embassy and she should have it back next week. Planning on her coming here around 16 Mar.

I remember reading a while back about discounted "first time immigrant" air fares....anyone have any info on that? Is it a big discount or not worth the hassle?

I got my 1-way ticket to Seattle via EVA Air at $617 (exclusive of the P1,620 PH Travel Tax and P550 Terminal Fee). Flying by April 30, which is within the peak season already. You might get a cheaper one as March 16 is still within the off-peak season, if I am not mistaken. My travel agent just asked for a scanned copy of my IV.
