I just checked my case status again. First on 2/19/13 they said they mailed out the RFE. NOW 2/21/13 it says this:

On February 21, 2013, we mailed a notice requesting initial evidence in this case. Please follow the instructions on the notice to submit the evidence requested. Meanwhile, processing of this case is on hold until we either receive the evidence or the opportunity to submit it expires. Once you submit the evidence requested and a decision is made, you will be notified by mail. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

Does that mean the rfe is about more evidence? I thought they dont tell you what it is until you get the letter in the mail. Oh man...

"I thought they dont tell you what it is until you get the letter in the mail." - Yes

What you received is a generic response. An RFE by definition is a request for evidence. Sometimes, like in our case, that evidence is a question you missed on the I-129F. Those are nice because you just check the box, and then send it back to them. The letter will tell you specifically what they want.

Yeah, I didn't notice that with ours but I know a lot of people have posted about that on here. Most people think they are receiving two RFE's but it tends to just the one.
