I visited my fiancee last July, we spent 3 weeks together, then again I went November for his birthday, stayed for a week. Just wondering should I visit him again, cuz some people are getting denied because of not making many trips. I was hoping for an approval this month, projected that his interview would be in April or so. I def will be there. I plan on going for spring break cuz i miss him so much, should I wait until his interview?

I am getting worried as well I filed my K1 in Aug (27) I was in haiti from March-July 2012 . Due to work I have not been able to go for a visit not even for Dec. The latest visa denial just got me really worried. I will be there for the interview but I just might have to pop in real quick if this trend continues

Guys, I was super worried for my interview because of the many denials. I literally lost sleep over it. Here are my suggestions. Be aware of the denials, but don't stressed yourself over them. Some of the stories are not complete. It may seem like a perfect situation where everything was answered correctly and still got denial, but something might be left out. When I was there, I eavesdropped on the interviews. The ones that were denied were the people that took time to reply, didn't have enough proof, etc. The ones that got a delayed response was because the fiance was not present. Don't worry. Pray and relax...

If you can't make it to the interview, make sure you send a lot of new proofs to your fiance for the interview. The CO can only deny based on new information, so compile as many evidence as you can, make sure you have all your Affidavit ready with Tax Return Transcripts from the IRS (it takes 6-10 days after you order them online for free to receive them.) If you are there with your fiance, make sure you show your presence. I went up with my fiance when they called him and the CO told me that it was nice that I was there and that I should just sit down and wait for my interview as we would have a Stokes one. If you are there as well, calm each other down. Hold hands, act nice to each other because they are watching you and you don't want stress to make you look like a different couple than you really are... At one point I was so stressed, I couldn't sit straight (lol) but O just held my hands and massaged my head and it felt nice. Be supportive and nice.

There was one couple that were a pain to each other. They were approved but didn't even do a little celebratory wave as we did. LOL. I hope they are better to each other now! lol.

If you can afford to go twice, then do :) It will be nice for your relationship... But if you can only do one trip due to work, etc. then, do the interview trip. It'll be a nice form of support, the CO will appreciate it, you can correct his mistakes, and you can avoid the chance of a delayed response due to the need for a dual interview :)

If you are unable to go before the interview, make sure you are at the interview (I think the last person that got denied was not present at the interview and did not visit often--it hasn't been a year since your last visit, so no prob.) If it's taking a long time for you to get your NOA2, then, maybe a quick visit will be nice! Good luck! :)

One more thing... make sure you have pictures with other people (family, friends...) They focused on those kind of pictures during my interview. We had pictures with our family, our common friends, in concerts, etc. If you don't have any, you can always take them on your visit for the interview and print them out and present them at the first window as extra information. It'll help greatly! :)

If you could afford it then why not

We've seen each other only twice and 3 weeks each trip in a period of 30 months but we've also made trips to Singapore and Malaysia together.

Good luck!
