Hello, I am going to be applying for citizenship immediately when I turn 18 in late March, but I'm scheduled to go to Costa Rica in the third week of July (about July 20th), and I will most likely apply for a name change as well.

Will I be able to get my passport ready by that time or will that be stretching it?

Where is your local USCIS office? It is definitely cutting it very fine.

Bye: Penguin

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

Err, what exactly is an early bio? (sorry, I don't know too much about this)

When you get your biometics appointment letter, go to the Application Support Center before your appointed time.

But, you are really cutting thing a bit too tight. Murphy's Law will probably win in the end.

It takes more than 2-3 months to get your US citizenship. You will most likely still be an LPR, so you would travel internationally with your current citizenship.
