I-130 Question regarding deployment

When listing on the I-130 addresses you have lived over the past 5 years, how should you list deployments? My husband was deployed to Afghanistan for about a year but was moved around between Kandahar/another base and doesn't recall actual addresses. He and I are both confused about this one.

My husband in the past 5 years had been in various different locations for at least 3 whole years of that with the military!

He put his actual physical address, which was the residence he maintained while he was away each time. Not sure if it was wrong, but they never questioned it, and I wouldn't think they would need disclosure of where your husband was while protecting his country.

If he had a single base then he could use that, otherwise he should use his stationed base where his mail would likely be sent.

I think I answered this question in a different forum, but you didn't provide those specifics.
