Aloha. How are you all doing? I hope that all is well and that you are in good health and spirits upon viewing my post. My name is Nathanial and I am new to this forum. I have some concerns that have to do with a trip I will be going on next month. I was hoping someone might be able to help me address these concerns.

I am currently on parole in the state of California. However, I am about ready to be discharged from parole. I officially discharge my parole on march 9. Shortly after I am discharged from parole I will be travelling to Manila, Philippines. My flight to Manila is four days later on march 13. So what I am concerned about is will I encounter difficulties departing the country? The reason I ask this is because a couple of years ago I attempted to fly from Honolulu to Manila but was arrested at the airport as I attempted to board the flight. The difference between then and now was during that time I was on the run from parole and had an active P.A.L. warrant out for my arrest. At this time I have NO outstanding warrants and by the time I fly out I will officially be OFF of parole.

So what I am seeking to find out is will I have any difficulties boarding the flight on march 13. Please note that my passport was never confiscated, even when I was arrested at the airport in Honolulu. I am just worried about being hassled by officials at the airport being I am leaving the country so soon following my parole discharge date. Would you happen to have a solid answer to my question? I have been trying to get information about this. But surprisingly no one, even those in the legal profession, seem to have an answer to this. Mahalo.

With much respect and aloha,

Nathanial

Your parole officer should be able to answer that.
