Hi,

Im gathering all the requirements to file a I-130.

Just had a quick question,

On the marriage certificate it shows my Wifes Married name.

Do the supporting documents, such as birth certificate, police report, passport, all have to show her married name? If that is the case, it may take some additional time since changing documents do take long where I am from.

I hope I can use the old documents, since we do have the marriage certificate.

No a birth certificate should always show your name at birth. Her passport should probably be changed but it can be done when it needs to be renewed. She would have to travel with her marriage certificate if her gc ends up being different then her passport.
