Hi Visa Journey Friends,

We received our NOA-2 and my fiance picked up all of the papers to fill out at the embassy. I'm working on putting them all together and wanted advice for organizing and explaining them. For evidence of an ongoing relationship, how did you organize it? Did you have cover sheets? Did you sign all of the papers? I am using:

Screen shots from Skype along with photos from when I was still in Nepal, printed with dates, people in photo and location identified

Screen shots of our email exchanges (searched his email address which pulls up all emails I've sent and he's sent)

Copied Skype records, including screen shots of the way that I put them in a .doc document

Printed copies of my phone records with his number underlined including screen shots of how I accessed them

Should I put them in a binder and keep the rest of the forms as a pile of papers? Any advice?

Thanks!

I put a cover letter for each category. Proof of ongoing relationship, then I put pictures, emails, skype conversations under this category. Make sure you submit an updated letter of intent to marry. They want to know if you are still interested in getting married from when you first start this process. Organize the paper work in a way that your fiancee can easily locate what they will ask for.

Sent I-129 Application to VSC 2/1/12
NOA1 2/8/12
RFE 8/2/12
RFE reply 8/3/12
NOA2 8/16/12
NVC received 8/27/12
NVC left 8/29/12
Manila Embassy received 9/5/12
Visa appointment & approval 9/7/12
Arrived in US 10/5/2012
Married 11/24/2012
AOS application sent 12/19/12

AOS approved 8/24/13

I separated everything in subfiles.

I have what is officially requested for the interview (my forms, birth and police certificates, I-134 with paystubs letter of employer and bank paper, the reciept of the payment, letters of intent, the standard documentation about the IMBRA they sent in packet 3 (why are they asking for this, I have no idea), copy of the NOA2,ID pictures )

I have a file with additional evidence for the I-134

I have a file with proof of ongoing relationships with enveloppes for boarding passes and plane tickets, an enveloppe for letters, then mails, skype and whatsapp records, and I am gonna bring the I-129F copy separatly

and of course I bring the results of the medical

Good luck in your visa journey!

From the day we sent I-129F to the day I recieved my K-1: Exactly 9 months
I am the benifeciary

All, please advise if:

1) Screens of Gmail are a valid proof or one should have actual emails showing the content?

2) How do you support it with Whatsapp? If I email it to my gmail then it only comes as an attachment that opens in MS Word "without" a company logo on top? Wouldn't you think that anybody can type up a chat for that matter?

Thank you very much

1) select mails your comfortable with displaying, and print all the content.

2) true. But all the 'proof' are fakable when you really think about it. So just print that, it is better than nothing. Or if you can printscreen on your phone you can do that.
