I just have a simple Question. I have already filed the I-130 for my wife and we were going to wait to file for her son (my stepson) until she came here to the US and got settled down. (the child will be staying with her parents) but now she kinda regrets and so do I about leaving him behind but only for a short time. Does anyone know or any suggestions on this matter? thanks for your help and input.

send of the I-130 on the step son, include NOA-1 copy of the formletter I-797C (wait till you have it)

include in the cover letter 'please join up this casefile with my wife's casefile, as this is her son'.

and that's about it.

since you just filed that I-130 on the mother - the next one will get joined up, no worries there.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Thanks Darnell this was alot of help.

Another Question: I only been to the Philippines once but I was there for 2 months with my wife. we do Skype everyday for almost 2 years. But I'm wondering if they will frown on it that I only been there 1 time. Maybe i'm just letting things bug me to much but these things worry me. Thx for your input
