Wifes Visa Interview!

So my wife has her appointment for the visa in Manila on March 5th. I think this is the process - tell me if I'm wrong:

1) Stop at St. Lukes, it takes 1 or 2 days for her to complete this (hopefully...) (related note, the clinic she was born in has lost her immunization records in floods, is that a big deal? Does she need any records to show the physicians?)

2) Interview takes place, she answers the questions, she is approved,

3) Some time later (is it about 2 days?) 2go people deliver the passport to our hotel/pension and we are staying at.

4) I can't remember what its called, but once we have the visa we need to head over to the Philippine agency and get their stamp after watching some Powerpoint presentation. Then its time to buy a plane ticket!

Here is what I think for the schedule - with luck my wife will have the visa on March 7th and March 8th she can take care of the Powerpoint presentation. That is a first come first serve deal right? Then we can be fly to the USA!

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

Or more broadly - how long does it take on average? its hard to predict?

It depends when the visa is issued your location in the PI and 2go. Time varies for each individual. I would plan on 7-10 day minimum.

Agreed - my wife got hers delivered in about 7 days after the interview.

Sent I-129 Application to VSC 2/1/12
NOA1 2/8/12
RFE 8/2/12
RFE reply 8/3/12
NOA2 8/16/12
NVC received 8/27/12
NVC left 8/29/12
Manila Embassy received 9/5/12
Visa appointment & approval 9/7/12
Arrived in US 10/5/2012
Married 11/24/2012
AOS application sent 12/19/12

AOS approved 8/24/13

I had my interview last jan 28.. I got my visa feb 1.. Just condition yourself to receive it within 7-10days.. I have a friend who got her visa in 2 weeks.. Some only waited for 3 days..

Im from zamboanga, but i waited for the release of visa in Manila... Pick up to 2go...

Thats what i did also.. After the interview, i attended the cfo seminar, afterwards, went back to get the sticker when i got my visa...

Thank you very much for the response. Did the Consul told you right away that you got approved or you asked her/him?

In my case, the Consul told me "ok. You are approved" =)
