Us embassy in ankara turkey, suicide bomb..

As I read the news about that I felt my heart stop...well I always feel that when reading something so terrible...bless and protect the workers there, they have to continue working At the other embassies throughout turkey even though they all must be so scared. It's so terrible my heart goes out to them all. Plus the fact that tomorrow my fiancé is going from his village to big Istanbul, another target for terror, scares me. In a matter of months my fiancé is supposed to have his interview at that same embassy in ankara...

God please stop these terrible things from happening...

I was at this embassy on December 10, waiting outside while my fiancee was inside for her interview. There were so many people waiting with me. I am saddened by this, but also thankful that there were not more injuries and death from this attack. I hope this does not disrupt the business of the embassy and that those with interview next week will be able to be seen.

I felt the same way reading it. I have a trip planned to Istanbul next month to see my husband. And I understand your feeling about your fiance going there. My son is a little worried about this trip too.

I think all of us that will have our loved ones interviewed in Ankara are worried. But my hope is that they wont try this again anytime soon.

Ya I lived there for 2 years without any problems for myself..but its just something I feel connected to. I as well hope that nothing else happens! be safe

I know, a man lost his life..Im so sad for him and his family tho. But of course it could have been much worse!
