Hi, the person that is sponsoring my husband is not sure of the exact date that he came into the US. He knows he came in in February of 1997 but is not sure of what day in February. In the forms it says (Date [mm/dd/yyyy]) should i put 02/1997? Or should I put February 1997? What should I put here. Please help me I need ti take this tomorrow for our interview again. Our interview on Wednesday didn't go to well.

You won't get much credible help on that question until you clarify it further. The best answer I can give to the question I think you are asking is this --- Go and find out the actual date by looking at his Passport. They stamp them on the date he arrived in the US -- If there is no passport or no stamp - then you have a completely different problem.

Just re-read your post - I stand by the earlier answer with the following addition --- When they say mm/dd/yyyy - they mean 01 through 12/ --- 01 through 31/ --- 1901 through 2013 or 01/01/2001 like that --- do not try and put February 1997 because A) it doesn't cover the day and B) it isn't in the format they require --
