Hello all,

question: Can someone tell me what the timelines are like on the day of the oath in Houston? I have to get some folks to this Wednesday's ceremony and the letter lists a 7am showtime. I've read some stories that many times there are 1-2 hours of check lines before anything starts. Is that normal?

It will probably be closer to 7:45am or 8 before we get them there and I wondered what the wait/process would be like.

Thanks,

FL

I'm currently waiting on my oath ceremony letter and we are going thru a small USCIS office. We were told that they do up to 30 people a ceremony and the ceremonys are either at 10am or 2:00pm. I would think if showtime is at 7am you need to be there at 7. They told us the ceremony last about 2 hours depending on the number of people doing their oath.

depending on how many is invited to take the oath, it could take 2-3 hrs before the programme begins.. i had about 900++ when i did mine and i got there at 7am and already there was a long line to get in.. another line to register, get seated and finally it started at 10 am.. just get there early, you don't want to be late and have the doors close on you..

Thank for the timeline. We will not be early. we will be "late" but it will not be a problem, I spoke with someone here about it and I found the old thread here that discussed the timeline via a google search (it didn't show up when I searched this site) so I got what I needed.

MODS you can close this thread. I found what I needed. Thanks.
