Hello everyone!

I checked the status of my case online with the case number provided on the NOA-1, yesterday and it said:

"your Alien Registration Number was changed relating to your I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please check our website for further updates on your case. Please wait until the end of normal processing time before calling customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for live assistance. "

What does this mean? Do we need to contact the USCIS for the current alien registration number?

Any information would be great - thanks!

We have the NOA-1 hard copy, we used the number that was on that document to check the status and that was when I saw the above message.

btw, Thanks!

Nope! It seems to have been a policy change for those apps received mid-November and later. So no worries if you get one or if you don't!

Oh no worries, I thought others might have the same question.

Good to know it was a policy change and we don't need to worry about it.
