Should I file the form i-864 and i-864A together with my i-130 petition? No, you do not file the I-864 with the I-130. I do not know what to do. Follow the Guide. Read the Guide. You do not file the I-130 with the I-864. You file the I-130 with its supporting documents; no I-864. Wait anywhere from a few months to a year for the I-130 to be approved. Then the NVC will send you a bill for the I-864. After you pay the bill, then you send in the I-864 and your husband sends in the I-864a. You do not send in the I-864 with the I-130.
