HELP MY FIANCE HAS ASC APP. ON JANUARY THE 17TH AND INTERVIEW THE 24TH

HES FAMILY MEMBER JUST CAME FROM HES INTERVIEW WITH HER HUSBAND AND KIDS AND SAID THAT HE HAS TO GO A FEW DAYS TO JUAREZ BEFORE ASC TO DO HES MEDICAL.?

I SAID NO BECAUSE MY LAWYER SAID TO DO IT BETWEEN THE 17TH AND THE 24? HES FAMILY MEMBER SAID THAT THE OFFICERS OUTSIDE ASC SAID THEY HAVE TO DO MEDICAL FIRST THAN ASC???? REALLY CONFUSED PLEASE HELP

I KNOW I SHOULDNT BE HEARING WHAT OTHERS SAY BECAUSE EVERYTHING IS DIFFERENT BUT IM CURIIOUS AND CONFUSED.

I have never heard of anyone having to do their medical first before the ASC appointment. Some people even choose to do the ASC appointment in their own city before ever going to Juarez for the medical and visa interview. No papers about the medical are needed for the ASC. For the ASC appointment, you need your DS-260 confirmation, appointment confirmation, invitation letter and passport.

Yeah I think you don't HAVE to. That's just the norm. Usually people just like to do the medical first because it's a hassle and they want to get it out of the way. But nothing is set in stone that that's how you have to do it.
