I was checking my brothers case status on that site and I found it weird, why would the status be "returned to NVC"?

My brothers case was completed January 2012, but I called in and they said the same thing every time.....

Ahmed, I think you can get it done at any medical lab

has anyone tried calling the embassy. do u think if i call it will do some help

I have a cousin who was in a similar situation. His two daughters received their visas but they wouldn't give it to his wife. So I heard he kept emailing them and explaining his situation. The embassy contacted his wife two weeks before he was traveling to the US for her to come and pick up her visa. So keep emailing them every day if you must, and try to call them. Inshallah they'll call your husband soon. It really is unfair for them to put your husband in AP for that long.

Why don't you have a family member do it for you since you are still in Yemen.
