I believe the cover letter he is talking about is once you receive the 3.5 e-mail packet you need to print that e-mail and take it to American Express. Thats the cover letter that will have your case number. In order to submit documents you need to wait for that 3.5 packet e-mail.

Yes that 3.5 packet email but i have not received or mistakenly i have deleted. my i-29f petition is going to expire on 23 jan 2013. how would i know whether they had sent me an email or not. because if it is deleted mistakenly i have to request them to resend.

SO bascially take the over make it look like a formal letter fill in the proper information pertatning to your case sign. You DO NOT need to send the email that they send you with the packet 3.5 use the cover letter in the post above. Some times those american express people do not know what they are doing and confuse people instead.

Well its not that he has to send it, but they do ask for a copy of this at lease Speedex does.

I made him send copies of his birth certificate and police certificate not the originals :( BUT I wrote on the cover letter that the original would be provided at the interview. :-( I'm worried they're going to reject it or return it or something! What do you all think?
