post-19794-1141221729_thumb.jpgHi,

I have approval letter dated Febuary 1st, 2006 from NVC, stating they are sending to Embassy in Manila.

I have been calling the embassy in Manila with my case number, but each time they tell me they have received nothing yet. And call back again.

I called NVC 3 times and they tell me petition was sent Febuary 1st, same as date on my letter from them.

NVC stated they shipped DHL and also electronically filed.

As I look at other time lines (Philippines only), I see 10 days being long and 4 days fast for this petition to arrive to Us Embassy in Manila.

Manila says we dont have your file, please call back.

NVC says they need something in writing from Embassy stating petition never arrived.

I cant seem to get help from either side. I do in fact have a case number MNL2006******.

Any comments on what I can do about this, or what maybe happened with petition would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Robert and Lori

ok thank you ryecatcher, but I want to add that NVC sent petition on Feb 1st. I did call Washington DC, one up on NVC and the lady there told me that my case number shows Manila recieved on Feb 17th... but still makes me wonder why Manila Emabssy dont recognize my case number . I will call manila a few times a week and see what materializes in next two weeks.

I did call another phone number in Washington DC and they, with my case number, state that Manila received petition Feb 17th. Wow!, I hope so. I will give a little more time for Manila to recognize it. Thanks John and Marlene

Hi Jasman :)

Just collecting people advises for me....

The case is ........ got the appointment letter from st. lukes and saw my son name wrong spelling. Which i simply thought they mistype it for some reason, but ive received my packet (2nd copy) from delbros delivery and got still the name of my son wrong spelling on our appointment letter. hmmm  actually i proofread all xerox docs my fiance submitted to NVC it was printed clearly, and the G235 i filled up with my penmanship is so clear to read wats the diffrence between LLOYD to LLOVD & JULIAN to JUIAN ... geeeezzzz hehehehe

Isn't it , if we committed typo-errors in encoding forms or filling it up by penmanship, we should have been noted by RFE from NVC at first. But as you could see my signature down, we dont received any RFE's from the time of filing the petition, that we believe weve sent complete info's & documents needed. So i was just thinking it is embassy discrepancy and not ours.... BUT As for now not UNTIL my interview date occurs, its so unknown to me who commit the errors, and im into my interview by next week and i dont want that trouble be a cause for an AR result. tho i will making sure on that day of interview, i got all documents since from our parents, ourselves, fiancee divorce/widow, till my son and to my singleness ... i bring all originals documents for them to see.

Since my fiancee arriving anytime here in manila, could we get affidavit of discrepancy even were not sure its our fault and getting it here LOCALLY? but since the docs was all filed in NVC overseas?

Regards & God Bless! :D

I wouldn't worry too much about the mis-spellings, you can get that corrected if necessary. Good luck
