Hi everyone, I'm new in this website. So here is my dilemma.

Hi husband and I are traveling to Mexico, our honeymoon (finally) and I VERY concern with the travel. My GC has my married name but my passport has my maiden name. Now I've read some posts and it states that my flight ticket should match my passport, well that's not the case for me! My plane ticket matches my GC!!!! Am I going to have problems?!? We are leaving in 2 days. This is our first trip together, first time leaving the country and I really don't want to have any problems.

I tried to change my passport to my married name but in my country you do not take your husbands last name, you add it(hyphen) plus they wanted to take my original marriage certificate! My husband was no ok with that.

Will I be ok? Help!

Thank you!

I'd change the name in the ticket to match the passport. The problem is that outside the US, for air travel, only a passport would be recognized as a valid id.
