Hi all,

So we've come far at this point in our process. We submitted our AOS forms along with applications for advanced parole and EAD and these all have a receipt date of December 19th, 2012 with USCIS. My fiance has also received his biometrics appointment for January 17th, 2013. Our question is, in any of your experiences, how long has advance parole taken to come through? We are slightly concerned because we need to go back to the UK on 8th March for a good friend's wedding but we are not sure if our papers will come through in time. Our lawyers have advised that we are ineligible to apply for an expedite because USCIS has very strict guidelines of what constitutes valid reason for expedite of AOS. We are in a bit of a bind and hoping for some advice and information on how long others' have taken. Many thanks in advance for your replies!

Mine came through in 49 days, but that was a few years ago. Things could have sped up or slowed down since. It was about 4 weeks after my biometrics appointment. Hope you get it in the time!

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.
