hi everybody,my best friend brought his wife on k-1 visa last september ,and they get married in october,he filed AOS for her in november, they get BIO appointement first week of January ,a couple weeks after their mariage she started acting weird ,but he was trying to work things out ,however two weeks ago he found out that she was talking with a couple guy online and one of the is her exboyfriend back in her country, and during that she told him that she came here for better opprtunities ,and in other conversation that she doesn't love her husband and he is not her type) and also he found out she was looking online for lawyer for divorce around the area and how she can get GC and ROC without him ,he confronted her about it and they argued ,she threatened him to call the police and tell them that he abused her physical(wich he didn't) and she told so she can have her GC, and she did call 911 ,police came ,they file an argument report ,they didn't take him to jail ,they just asked him to sleep on the other bedroom, however the next day he went to work and when he came back home she took her staff and was gone ,he called the police to tell them she's missing however they told him they know her whereabout ,but she asked to not tell him (maybe shelter ?),he is still worried because she doesn't even speak english ,she doesn'have anybody here ,and she didn't have that much money on the account he oppened for her,and the worst thing he thinks she's pregnant ,she told him she is gonna avort the baby before because it's very soon, but he convinced her to keep it , she change her mind thinking the baby gonna help her to get legal paper,

he called immigration and they told him that he is not the applicant and he can't withdraw the AOS application ,she didn't get her biometric yet,

he filed for divorce ,and since he doesn' know where she is ,it is gonna take forever, and he is so worried about the fact she is pregnat ,he wants the baby.

I was wondering what are his options?

thanks

aos? Adjustment of status?

Tell your buddy that he can withdraw the I-864, affadavit of support,

and that will put a dead-stop to the adjustment of status process for her.

he has to write a letter, submit it to the office where the Adjustment o Status Casefile resides currently.
