Okay our time grows near

Hopefully soon I will be looking to buy that one way ticket to America

My questions are

Is it true she must depart on a Philippine airline?

How should I purchase and pay?

I live near Richmond Va

I see through Cheapo Air a flight (Philppine Air) that leaves Cebu to Tokyo (Canadain Air) to Toronto to Richmond (Canadain Air) (POE)

Any advice how I can purchase and pay with my CC this ticket for her with no Snags for her at departure time??

Sounds easy enough but who knows

ALWAYS better to ASK the dumb questions

Thanks SO MUCH!!

it is not necessary to use PAL (Philippine Airline).

if she will have layovers provide her with at least 2 hours minimum so she won't be running around the airport.

most of the airlines would ask for the CC to be presented by the passenger, (not 100% that they do). send her a photocopy of your CC (front/back) and driver's license.

**personal experience**

my bf bought my tix from delta (online) and he just called the delta customer service and advise our situation. he was told that i did not need to present any CC.

How should I purchase and pay? You can pay or send her the money to purchase. If you purchase the ticket she may need a copy of your credit card (front & back) and maybe driver's license. I have heard of some calling the airline after they purchase the ticket to remove the "fraud worries".

Also make sure she has money for the exit fee of Php 1,620 in not included (normally not included if you purchase) and the terminal fee of Php 550.

I doubt that you must only use Philippine Airlines, we used EVA via MNL-Tiawan-LAX-ATL-MOB. I used a RT ticket since it was cheaper (about 40%) RT than 1 way. Go figure.

Just called EVA after she arrived and canceled the return leg. I bought on the EVA website and then added a note in the special needs section that she was traveling as a K1 alone. I also called the airline explaining I was buying the ticket for her. She had no issues at all.

This not a dumb question! Always best to ask because we have been in your shoes.

best wishes!

You know what comes out of the south end of a north bound bull....?

Many have flown from the Philippines on a variety of airlines, my wife flew out on Hawaiian airlines. There is NO requirement to use PAL.

My Husband bought my ticket online in delta airline and I haven't problem during my flight. He didn't send he's cc copy and dl he just go in nearest delta desk in the airport near he's home so they could make a note in the computer for the reservation that the cc was verify. My flight was from manila to atlanta with the layover in Nagoya Japan and transfer to a domestic flight in detriot (POE).
