My fiance is finally on his way to me today on his K-1 Visa and at the airport in Innsbruck they told him his Visa is not in the computer system! They told him hopefully they can straighten it out in Frankfurt for his flight from Frankfurt to the US. I'm freaking out! Has anyone had this experience? Is there anything I can do from here?

Is your fiance a German citizen with a German passport, or something else?

He is an Austrian citizen with an Austrian passport. The airport in Austria issued his ticket under the Visa Waiver program which he brought with him thank god. So then when he got to Frankfurt they didn't want to change his ticket to the K-1 Visa because they said it would mess everything up. Is this going to be a problem when he gets to the POE here?

Unsure..

But the USA POE will sort it out.

I suggest you tell him to make certain that the K-1 visa is endorsed by the stamp at the POE and an I-94 done.

Traveling to USA vs Entering the USA can be viewed as two seperate things, so that's a plus, at a USA POE.

So everything went ok at customs, he got through with no problem, BUT they did not give him any paperwork at all. They took the visa packet and stamped his passport but no other forms were returned or given to him. Was he supposed to get an I-94 form????

he was supposed to fill out an I-94 on the airplane, and it's handled at the POE desk.

Don't fret - get into a secondary inspection office / deferred inspection office with CBP, get it sorted there.

No queues, no lines, no waiting, no telephone -

just find the local office and go .
