Hi everybody! I had my interview today and it went fairly well! But i got an rfe because I didn't attach the birthcertificats for my affidavits of a bona fide marriage.

I was able to get to of the three birthcertificats, but I'm afraid I won't be able to get the third one!!!

Could I just have another friend write me a letter, that he is a witness that I have a bona fide marriage?

Please somebody help me! This is the only thing holding me back from my permanent residency!

Maybe my message was a little confusing. I submitted 3 affidavits with my original package from two family members and one friend!

The IO wanted to see proof of their legal citizenship.

I was able to get the birth certificates of my husbands family members but I can not get hold of my friend!

Will it be ok to get another affidavit from a different friend?

Well, in my case they didn't ask for birth certificate for affidavit. My mother in law wrote one for me, and all she did was to put her SSN, DOB, and Place of Birth on there. However, I did have to attach a passport page of my co-sponsor of I-864. Is that what you're talking about?
