Hi All,

I'm (a USC) living with my beneficiary abroad.

For question #22 on the I-864 form, do I put the address abroad in it, and the US address in #23? I am putting USA in question #15 and have tons of proof for establishing domicile. Any input is appreciated.

Thanks!

We relocated from abroad. Noticed the typos LOL

On the I864:

My mailing address was my address abroad and residence address was my US address (the one on our drivers licenses)

My country of domicile was the foreign country we were living in when we filed. If you are filing DCF you are expected to be a legal resident of the country you live in.

Thank! I thought one was to list the US as domicile?

We interpreted it this way: Our taxes said resident of Saudi Arabia. We applied for DCF as a resident of Saudi Arabia and to qualify I (USC) had to show a residence card before they would accept the application at the consulate.

So we applied as overseas residents domiciled in Saudi with intent to immigrate to a specific address in the US (my parents) and our paperwork was consistant with that overall category. Right or wrong - it worked :)
