We will be starting our application early January 2013.

As an estimate your looking at possible NOA2 by early July 13. After that the ball is in your court re how quickly you get the medical an required docs in Place before your interview can be scheduled.

Once you have submitted your petition fill in your timeline an you will get an estimate for your case

If the beneficiary is Saudi, there also will be mandatory AP, possibly both at NVC and another one at the consulate.

There is no way to estimate the length of entire process, much less to provide "specific month" answer OP is seeking.

I just submitted my K-1 visa earlier this month and it seems it will be adjudicated in June sometime. If you are filing in January, you will likely be adjudicated in July sometime. However after that, you still have medical, I-134, and the interview which will take a couple months at least. I would give yourself a 10-12 months for the whole process.
