03/26/2006-conditional PR granted

12/05/2008-conditonal removal and got my GC

this month (dec 2012) plan on applying for naturalization

I have questions regarding N-400 form about my residence for the last 5 years-what years would I have to start to put in? Is it during CPR date granted? Or just count 5 years backward?

And then another questions that freak me out???- Is reporting changing of address is a big deal even though you don't have a pending application??? thanks. need some advice regarding this matter.

Changing your address is mandatory, but honestly, I've forgotten to do it twice and so far, nobody has come to kick me out of the country. Just file your change of address online ASAP and print out and keep a copy of the document that proves you have done it. You can do that here ... it's free, easy and immediate.

As far as listing your residences .... err on the side of caution. My timeline is similar to yours, I got my conditional green card July '07 and we moved in August of the same year. I just filed for citizenship at the end of November, and listed the address that I had from January to August '07 even though it is technically outside of the 5 year period, but within the calendar year timeframe and also showed my residence history since moving to the U.S. I don't think an extra address on the form is the worst thing in the world.

the five years start from the date you file your N-400, just count on backwards, as long as you are a LPR, you are supposed to report your change of address, within 10 days, every time you move, you can do it online. Just go online and file an AR-11. I don't think is a big deal.

Your Residency date is the date on your Conditional PR card. Count from that day onwards. Change of address is mandatory. It may or may not come up during the interview. Cross your fingers and file if you are eligible based on time. Good Luck.

If you are applying based on marriage to US citizen, read all questions about addresses, jobs, travel as the last 3 years. On the other hand, if you are applying based on 5-year residency, then reply for the last 5 years.
