Hi Guys,

I have a question that I hope you guys can help with. My wife is a LPR in the states and I am here in the UK waiting for my visa, by all estimates it will take 2 years. We filled for our I-130 over 6 months ago and I just finished my PhD recently. Can I apply for Post-Docs and jobs over in the states whilst I have a I-130 pending? I heard you can only have 1 visa application at 1 time. So if I get a job offer or go on a HB1 visa or work for a non-proft will that stall my I-130?

You can have two (or more) visa apps going at the time- feel free to apply!

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
