I'm so happy to say that we received the email notification that our I-129f was approved yesterday!!! :D I thought I had read enough on here to understand what comes next, but I feel in my excitement that I can not process the information to make sense of it, or I'm questioning what I thought I did understand. :bonk: Any help (spell it out for a blond please lol) is appreciated.

Here's a little more background on us in case it helps: I was able to spend 5.5 months in the UK with my fiance this summer and then he was able to return to the states with me on the VWP, and stayed the entire 90 days. He just went back and since I could not return with him we made plans to meet in another country in two weeks for the holidays. So here are my questions that I'm hoping can be answered:

1. Since we have the NOA 2 can we start collecting the additional evidence that we will need? (i.e. police certificates, bank statements) Or do they have to be dated within a certain amount of time? Like within so many weeks, months??? Concerned since we will not be in our home countries to get documents as easily.

2. I know I have to wait for notification to pay the NVC fee...but when I do pay the fee, do I send them the Affidavit of Support or does that go to my fiance for his interview?

3. Also regarding the AoS, I did quit my full time job but I am still employed at my part time job (even though I work full time hours there). I just received the letter from the agency that pays me and a letter from the company that I actually do the work for that states it is a temporary assignment but that I can return to full time employment at any time (I worked there 3yrs FT but went PT (3yrs now) to make my own hours and now travel as needed while we go through the visa process). The letter does state what my pay rate is but not my hours since I make them. My income is more than the 125% required but we are concerned if I should just return to full time status for the rest of the visa process or if these letters along with additional evidence will meet the requirements? If additional evidence will work, what documents can I provide?

This is much longer than I anticipated, but any help is appreciated. Again sorry so long. :help:

Start reading this thread http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/350185-london-2012-k1s-from-noa2-to-interview-thread/ in the UK forum. It's for K1s going through London. You need London info now, not worldwide because each consulate is different.

Thank you, that has really great info....it also has a lot of info, 61 pages of info to be exact. I read a lot but didn't see, or missed some certain things. So basically I wait for the hard copy of the NOA 2 and then wait to hear from the NVC to pay the fee, correct? Once I pay the fee is my fiance's interview scheduled or does he have to have the medical first then they schedule his interview? Can he schedule his medical prior to me paying the NVC fee? And do I send the NVC my I-134 and supporting documents or do I give it to my fiance to turn in at his interview?

Thanks for any help.

There is no NVC fee for a fiancé visa. It does nothing but pass through there to get a new Dept of State case number (LNDXXXXXXX).... 3 days in most cases. No forms, documents or fees go to NVC. Theere is a copy of the instruction letter from London in that thread and links to the instructions on the embassy website. If you are too bothered to read tips and tricks and experiences already written out in one place, I'm too bothered to write it for the 100th time.

(And ignore my grouchy tone. It's the middle of the night, I've had surgery and can't sleep because of extreme pain, and your laziness has hit my last frayed nerve. I'll be nicer perhaps next time.)
